Welcome to a night at the indie movies
A Queen’s Park actor and screenwriter will host a night at the indie movies in the plush Alea casino and restaurant on Springfield Quay.
Filmmaker Craig Maclachlan will also showcase some of his own work.

Hide AdHe told The Extra: “We have a film from Japan by a multi award-winning director and a TV pilot episode, Frank. The director recently raised the money to make the rest of the series which was shot by a BAFTA-winning cinematographer.
“We also have three brand new trailers from different filmmakers making there debut at the event before they go online, so there is plenty on show for the audience!
Opening the show will be Passing Place, which won the glasgow 48hour film festival prize earlier this year.
The ‘world cinema’ segment will be Three Days In Kamakura, shot in Japan last year and currently being shown at film festivals across the world.

Hide AdThe showcase movie of the evening will be a Maclachlan production, Reflections, starring Kerry Browne and Craig Anthony-Ralston.
The lights go down at Alea at 7pm on Wednesday, November 26. Tickets are £5 and it’s for over 18s only.
