Window to the Past: Rouken Glen Entertainers
THIS week, we present for your delectation, those thespians that were the Rouken Glen Entertainers.
Entertainment was a very serious requirement during the Great War and these men and women were producing first-rate performances around 1915.
Not for these men the flat cap and sans collar: they were, as were the women, dressed to the nines.

The Rouken Glen Entertainers regularly performed at the park from the early 1900s until 1939 — when another war blighted our country.
