Glasgow is constantly awash with cool new openings - it's our job to write about them and even we struggle to keep up - that's why we put together this list of new restaurants, cafes, and pubs in the city opened in the last year.
As multi-cultural as Glasgow is, there's always something missing from the city that some entrepreneurial hospitality start-up is happy to provide - whether it be Italian small plates, Mexican tacos or Caribbean-inspired small plates.
Cool spots like hidden cocktail bars are always on everyone's must-visit list and you'll find one of those below, alongside a bunch of new pubs across the city that are enlivening Glasgow's changing drinking scene.
Take a look below as we tour around the best new spots in Glasgow that have opened in the last year. Add them to your list.

5. Civerinos - 13 Radnor Street
Having lived in Edinburgh at one point in my life, I have to say that it's without a doubt the best pizza in the capital. When it comes to Glasgow however? They've got a lot of competition. When the weather starts getting bright and sunny again we can see this spot getting really busy as Glaswegians get a pie to sit in Kelvingrove Park with. Photo: sub
6. Kaffateria - 5-7 Dundas Street
Kaffateria is brand-new, and directly adjacent to Queen Street Station. Perfect for a commute or while waiting for a friend, if you finish your coffee and fancy a pint? Not a problem they've got it on draught.
7. The Cake Mixer - 307 Crow Road
The Cake Mixer was opened in the West End at the very end of last year by former teacher Lindsay Nairn. Customers at the new shop are able to buy baked goods from a carefully curated selection of Scottish and Glaswegian businesses, with a product range that includes Juno jam, Bare Bones chocolate, and fresh bread from Blackhill Bakery (available Fridays and Saturdays until sell-out).
8. Fallachan Kitchen - Arch 15, 8 Eastvale Place
Chef Craig Grozier opened his new exclusive private dining space Fallachan Kitchen this year in the railway arches by SWG3. Expect seasonal tasting menus, guest chefs, workshops and tastings as well as the space being available for private hire. Though with a 12-cover communal chef’s table, you may need to book well in advance. Pictured here is Fallachan Kitchen's dish: wild mallard, elderberry mustard, winter chanterelle, liver sauce.
