Glasgow is constantly awash with cool new openings - it's our job to write about them and even we struggle to keep up - that's why we put together this list of new restaurants, cafes, and pubs in the city opened in the last year.
As multi-cultural as Glasgow is, there's always something missing from the city that some entrepreneurial hospitality start-up is happy to provide - whether it be Italian small plates, Mexican tacos or Caribbean-inspired small plates.
Cool spots like hidden cocktail bars are always on everyone's must-visit list and you'll find one of those below, alongside a bunch of new pubs across the city that are enlivening Glasgow's changing drinking scene.
Take a look below as we tour around the best new spots in Glasgow that have opened in the last year. Add them to your list.

21. Banca Di Roma - 31 Royal Exchange Square
Banca Di Roma has been open for a year now in the city in the former site of Zizzi's on Royal Exchange Square. It's got a massive lush interior, and despite losing their Italian head chefs, they've been drawing in clientele at a steady rate.
22. August House - 43 Mitchell Street
No doubt you've seen an event or two hosted in August House by now - even if not, it's a great place to stop by for some drinks after a dinner at Sugo.
23. The Admiral Woods - 29 Waterloo Street
I only discovered The Admiral in the very last week of its lifetime - a tragedy I thought I'd never get over. Then The Admiral Woods opened down the street a short while later - it brings with it decades of experience running a pub, and somehow an even stronger community than before. It's essentially an amalgamation of all the best bits of both The Woods and The Admiral, now joined together. Not to mention their Macaroni Cheese is still the best you can get in Glasgow.
24. Pizza Cult - Barras Market
Pizza Cult just goes to show you that the Barras do it best. Between Ho Lee Fook, Pizza Cult, and Monter Munchies, the Barras Market has become quite the foodie destination these days. You can also try out some mad specials at Pizza Cult like the pigs in blankets and chestnut roaster at Christmas.
