West rugby club’s home game against Dumfries was cancelled on Saturday because of a waterlogged Burnbrae pitch.

The game has been re-scheduled for Saturday February 8.

A club spokesperson said: “The kick-off time still has to be agreed, but with Scotland playing at home at 5pm in the Six Nations, we need to finish the game by 3pm, so I think it will be an early start.”

West’s next game is this Saturday (February 1) when they are away to Hamilton. After this their two remaining games are home to Greenock on March 1, then away to Dalziel on the 22nd.
