With Thistle facing Kilmarnock at Rugby Park on Saturday, Jags manager Alan Archibald insists they won’t take their eye off the ball.
As SPFL action resumes this weekend the squad battle their relegation rivals to avoid the play-off place and an end-of-season shoot-out to maintain their top-flight status.
With five games remaining, Thistle are currently sitting in 11th place and only four points separating the teams, there is still a lot to play for.
Archibald said: “It will come down to these five games now and we know that there is so much at stake in every game. When we are playing, another team will be dropping points somewhere.
“It is like starting a season all over again, but the difference is that we are a point behind the teams in our league now. We have to make that up and get ourselves out of the play-off position.”
The Jags boss reckons Thistle could beat any of the five teams, but conversely, any of these teams could equally beat Thistle.
He said: “We have to go into every game looking to win and then you can see where you are after it.”
