Garscube Harriers athletes Robbie Dummond and Iain Peers competed in the Alloa Half Marathon on Sunday.
Robbie came 146th in 1hr 28min 2secs, while Iain was 648th in 1:49:40.
On the same day 10 club runners turned out for the Scottish Athletics Young Athletes Road Race Championships at Rouken Glen Park, Giffnock.
Catriona Graves followed up her success in the National Cross Country Championships by taking the silver medal in the u15 Girls 3,700 metres championships finishing second in 13mins 3secs.
Her team mates Catriona Booth was 19th in 14:44 and Rachel Busby 35th in 15:26.
Other Garscube results in this event was: u13 Girls 2,500 metres – 48th Nicola Brechany – 11:08, 67th Eilidh Chapman – 11:44; u13 Boys 2,500 Metres: 33rd Cody Stevenson – 9:47, 45th Ruaridh Russell – 10:14, 51st Calum Esler – 10:36; u15 Boys 3,700 Metres: 39th Adam Duff – 13:43, 41st Cameron Russell – 13:57.
Finally three members of Garscube Harriers competed in the Glasgow parkrun 5k race at Pollok Park on last Saturday. Scott McPherson finished 74th out of 387 runners in a time of 22mins 46, and Peter Dow came 137th in 24:36. Caroline Dow was 254th in 28:46.
