Red hot Harriers sizzle in the sun

IN EXTREMELY hot conditions Clydesdale Harriers organised the Polaroid Eyewear Clydebank 10k on Thursday.

First club runner across the line was Donald Cameron in 36mins 42secs, followed by Kevin Farmer (39.34), Martin King (40.15) and Alistair Greig (40.19).

Other times: Pete Cartwright (41.20 and 1st vet over 60), Hugh Laverty (41.49), Brian Reilly (42.14), Mark Barrow (45.10), Shirley Greig (45.25), Christine Duncanson (46.56 and 2nd vet over 50), Gerry Kane (47.13), Colin Gray (52.48), and Billy Weaks (60.11).

Today (Thursday May 28) is the third in the Polaroid Eyewear 10k Series at Dumbarton.

The race starts at 7.30pm.
