Members of Milngavie & Bearsden Swimming Club excelled at the recent West District Sprints, returning with nine gold, six silver and four bronze medals.
The club also had a further 13 finalists and amassed 70 PBs.
Douglas Kelly starred with four golds and one silver and Zoe MacDonald won two golds and was narrowly beaten into second in two further race. The other individual gold medallist was Paul Stevenson at the tender age of 34 in the 50br.
The other golds came in the relay events, through the 17 & over Mixed FC Team of Jonny Stark, Paul Stevenson, Julie Williams and Emily Brown and the 12 & under boys medley team of Blair Johnson, Jamie Ritchie, Douglas Kelly and Tom Wicklow.
Other silver medals went to Julie Williams and the 15-16 mixed team of Emma Williams, Zoe MacDonald, Matthew McColgan and Michael Lamb who won two medals.
The Williams sisters - Julie and Emma - also won a bronze apiece while the medal haul was completed with bronzes for Emily Brown and the 13-14 girls FC relay team of Rachel Gillespie, Molly Renton, Charlotte Hughes and Ellis Shiels.
