Milngavie FC 2002s hosted Oban Saints on Saturday and took an early lead when Simpson lashed a cracking shot home from outside the box.
But this advantage was short lived as MacPhee quickly levelled the game at 1-1.
The Milngavie lead was restored two minutes later when Crawford released Simpson who crossed for Forsyth to finish from close range.
Forsyth was on target again a few minutes later when his free kick dipped just under the bar to make it 3-1. Oban had several attempts on goal but Cunningham in goal for Milngavie handled the pressure well which was followed by a penalty to Milngavie which was converted by Simpson to go 4-1 up at half time.
Huskisson replaced Cunningham in the Milngavie goal and with the wind at their backs Oban dominated much of the play.
Dodds and Ewing were strong in midfield whilst Crawford, Donnelly, Osborne and Struthers did a great job in defence.
McKay, McPhee and Clark were outstanding for the visitors and Oban got a second goal as a result of constant pressure and almost scord a third with a heroic goal line clearance from McGraw.
Saints’ midfielder MacPhee pounced late on to make it 4-3, but Milngavie held on for a great win against a very good opposition.
