In the West District Grand Prix at East Kilbride recently Laura Averell (right) and Megan Donnelly led the team with three golds.
Lauren won her golds in the 50 Fly and 50 Free, with Megan getting gold in the 100 Fly.
Julie Williams (50 Back), Ewan Govan (100 Free), Ciaran Johnson (14&u 100 Free) and Lauren (100 Free) each took silver medals, whilst Megan (200 Fly) and Ewan (200 Free) added a bronze apiece.
Greg Watson, Emily Tang and Hannah Voute also impressed in reaching A finals during the races.
This was the club’s first long course (50m) racing of the season.
The Grand Prix attracted swimmers from across the country, providing a good test for the sizeable contingent from the club.
Several members showed early signs of intent with medal winning performances, whilst many of the younger team members surpassed expectations with finals appearances.
