AFTER four postponements, it was fifth time lucky for Lesmahagow Juniors as they thrashed Johnstone Burgh to reach the Scottish Junior Cup fifth round.

Saturday’s 4-0 triumph at Craighead Park – thanks to goals by Ross Hastie, Johnny McStay, Stewart Hall and Jamie Hamilton – sent ’Gow emphatically into the last 16.

“Reaching the last 16 is a great boost for the club,” said ’Gow manager Robert Irving.
