Partick Thistle fought back from two down against Ross County in their final game of the season, but the Dingwall boys proved too strong at Firhill scoring a third 13 minutes from time.
Jordan Slew’s first goal for County gave the visitors the lead on 22 minutesand Yoann Arquin headed their second just after the break.
Lyle Taylor nodded in to reduce Thistle’s deficit on 51 minutes and then set up George Moncur for the equaliser after 73 minutes.
But Melvin de Leeuw’s strike secured victory for Derek Adams’ side in the 77th minute.
With both sides having secured top-flight safety in midweek, the result served only to confirm their final positions in the league. with County finish seventh, three places above Thistle.
