MILNGAVIE’S Imogen Bankier is preparing for the French International Badminton Championships in Orleans over the Easter weekend.
The mixed double champion will continues her partnership with Bulgaria’s Petya Nedlecheva.
Despite a satisfying performance at the Yonex All England Championships, where they came through qualifying and took the seventh seeds to three games in the main draw, they again have to qualify.
The duo will need to defeat French pair Cyrielle Grosjean and Heloise Le Moulec and then top qualifying seeds Laura Choinet and Perrine Lebuhanic to reach the main draw.
In the mixed doubles Bankier will team up with Robert Blair - who she won the 2007 Scottish International title with - in a one-off tournament appearance as Scotland explore their doubles options in preparation for the Sudirman Cup World Team Championships campaign in Kuala Lumpur in May.
