Stephen Robinson: Motherwell FC boss still scouting/urges fans to buy season tickets

Motherwell FC gaffer Stephen Robinson has revealed that he is continuing to scout players electronically during the coronavirus lockdown.

Robbo, speaking to the club website, also urged fans to buy season tickets for the 2020-21 campaign, which went on sale this week.

The Northern Irish gaffer said: “From my perspective, this isn’t a time to down tools.

“We are planning for next season, as we had already been before the shutdown.

“We are scouting players using the technology we have.

“Our squad are keeping fit, ready to return to action when called upon.

“Our efforts stay the same, even if the location is different for now.

“That’s why we are asking you now to buy a season ticket if you can.

“Knowing that you are investing in our return will give us greater certainty over how we move forward.

“I realise it is a lot to ask in the face of everything else happening in our lives.

“But, if you can, please buy your season ticket and know that your contribution is valued more than I can possibly explain in these words.”
