Clydesdale Harriers athletes had several races over the past few weeks.
In the Central Lancashire New Year Half Marathon, Paul Carroll had an excellent run to finish third overall in a personal best time of 1hr 16mins 25secs over the undulating course.
The Lenzie Jog last Friday had Marina McCallum running the 9k 2 lap course in a time of 39mins 2secs.
And on Boxing Day there was the Aerodynamics Ayr Turkey Trot 10k. Fastest harrier there was again Marina McCallum in 43.20 and 3rd vet over 35, followed by Stephen McKee (47.51).
The previous weekend was the Harriers V Cyclists cross country run which had Peter Rudzinski running well over difficult terrain.
Lastly, in the middle of last month was the SVHC Christmas Handicap, which was part of the Run and Become Series. It was an out and back 5 mile course along the Forth and Clyde Canal starting and finishing in Clydebank.
Fastest harrier was Marina McCallum (38.07), followed by Watson Jones (40.21).
Looking ahead, this Saturday January 10 is the Hannah Cup cross country club race. It starts at 2pm near the first tee of Dalmuir Golf Course. All club members welcome.
