Clydesdale Harriers in action on Bute

Clydesdale Harriers athlete Pamela McCrossan had a good run in the Bute Highland Games 10k finishing second female and first veteran in a time of 42mins 7secs over the predominantly flat out-and-back course.

She was followed by Marina McCallum who was fourth female and second veteran in 43.45.

The previous week had two club runners competing in the Springburn Harriers Canal Canter

7k Trail Race. Bobby Young was fastest Harrier in a time of 28.55, followed by Colin Gray in 34.05.

In the National Under 16 Age Group Championships at Aberdeen Sports Village Emily Paxton had a good run finishing fifth in the finals of the 300m in 44.26. Rachel Campbell also ran well to finish 5th in the finals of the 300m hurdles in a time of 51.17.
