MILNGAVIE stretched its lead at the top of the Kelvin and Allander Seniors Bowling League this week with a tight four points to nil home win against Westerton.
Second placed clubs Killermont and Barr and Stroud played each other and dropped points with a 2–2 draw.
Meanwhile Hyndland continued its recent good run with an excellent 4–0 home win against Kelvindale and Bearsden and Claremont had to be content with a share of the points in their respective home matches against Maryhill and Lenzie.
After eight weeks, Milngavie are on 28 points, followed by Killermont and Barr and Stroud on 21, Lenzie, 17 and Westerton, 14.
Hyndland are on 12, a point ahead of Bearsden with Maryhill and Claremont on 10 and Kelvindale on 8.
Westerton, Claremont and Bearsden still have games in hand.
