Athletics - Kirkintilloch road race results

The annual event has become a major fixture on the sporting calendar with some of the country’s top athletes taking part, as well as many local runners.

This year’s race kicked off outside Gartconner Primary School, in Kirkinitlloch, with a field of almost 300 lining up at the start.

Held over a tough and challenging course, the race – the ninth in the series – included no fewer than 12 hills for the determined athletes to conquer along the route.
