Young up-and-coming tennis player Andrew Wilson has won the first of the Orange Summer Series, which was held at Virgin Active in Hamilton last week.
Andrew, a pupil at Craigdhu Primary School, has been playing tennis since the tender age of three.
In the Orange Summer Series event, he played five gamesin the series, and won every one.
Earlier this year, Andrew was selected for play at county level.
His dad, John is the head coach at Milngavie Tennis Club and said Andrew now needs to secure sponsorship to take his game to the next level.
John explained: “If he really wants to succeed, he needs to go down to England, or like Andy Murray, to Spain when he is older. The Spanish seem have a different approach to tennis. They look at things differently.”
