BEARSDEN got back to winning ways this week in the bowling league with a four points to nil home win against Barr & Stroud.
This result favoured Milngavie who were held to a 2–2 draw at home to local rivals, Claremont.
Meanwhile Killermont and Westerton both secured maximum points in their away games against Hyndland and Kelvindale respectively and Lenzie had a good 4–0 home win against Maryhill.
The Week six league table has Milngavie at the top with 20 points, followed by Barr & Stroud on 17, Killermont, 16, Lenzie, 15 and Westerton, 14. Bearsden are now mid table on eight with Maryhill, Claremont and Kelvindale each have six apiece, while Hyndland are on four. Westerton, Claremont and Bearsden still have games in hand.
