THEY’RE under orders - and that means it’s time for more fantastic horse racing competitions in the Herald.
The first of Hamilton Park’s 18 race meetings is on Sunday, May 6, and once again we’ve teamed up with the racecourse to offer readers free tickets to every meeting.
The action kicks off with the traditional season opener on the May Bank Holiday weekend helping to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
Take the whole family along to enjoy the wide choice of free children’s activities including fairground rides, crazy golf, ceramic painting and paint ball to name but a few.
The action on track gets underway with some fantastic quality racing - this is an opening day not to be missed!
Highlights of the season are the Super Six race meetings.
Discounts are available on all advance bookings for these meetings and if you have a group of six or more then why not look at the group packages for details of the five star package, the ideal ‘starter pack’ for your day or evening out.
As part of a series of fundraising ideas for Saints & Sinners, Hamilton Park is asking each customer booking advance tickets online to visit Hamilton Park in 2012 to donate just £1 when they order their tickets. Let’s see if the racecourse can raise as many pounds as it gets race goers throughout the season.
Looking forward to the opening day, Hamilton Park Racecourse chief executive Vivien Kyles said: “Following some thrilling racing in 2011, we are really looking forward to more of the same this season.
“The 2012 calendar is packed with quality racing, unique themes and top class entertainment which we are sure will prove a big hit.
“With our concerts featuring Tom Jones, Steps and Peter Andre also scheduled for July, it’s shaping up to be another unforgettable summer at Hamilton Park.”
First race at the opening day’s meeting is at 2.15pm and you can win a pair of tickets in our easy-to-enter competition.
