Woman injured after being struck by lorry

A woman is being treated in hospital after being struck by a lorry on a busy Glasgow street.

Police said the woman had been injured in the incident on Maryhill Road, near the Tesco store, at about 1.20pm yesterday, Monday, June 20.

Paramedics attended and she was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary.

Police closed off a section of Maryhill Road for a time to investigate the crash.
