Wine Festival is toast of the town
The Glasgow Wine Festival will see over 400 thirsty fans descend on Trades Hall this Saturday (October 18), with 75 boutique wines from around the world to sample.
The event is the work of Kirstin Boyce, who set up online business The Wine Palate in 2010.

Along with fine wines, canapes, olive oil and sherry tasting, Kirstin has also enlisted the help of Busby pianist Douglas Johnston, as well as a series of mini wine masterclasses.
Tickets have now sold out, but for wine aficionados who have secured theirs, the event runs noon-5.30pm.
