Wind ensemble will blow you away


FOLLOWING last year’s extremely popular event with Flutes en Route, Milngavie Music Club presents another special pre-season introductory concert, as part of Milngavie Book and Arts Festival.

Once again, the ensemble, Arunda Wind Trio, above, is part of the prestigious Live Music Now! scheme, founded by Yehudi Menuhin.

The Arunda is a young and dynamic trio of graduates from The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, The Royal College of Music London and The Conservatoire à Rayonnement Région de Marseille.

Arunda has a wealth of performing experience and members have played in numerous venues throughout the UK including The Royal Albert Hall, Cadogan Hall, Festival Hall and The Queen Elizabeth Hall in London, as well as in all the major performing venues in Scotland.

They will perform on Saturday, September 8 at 7.30pm in the Lillie Art Gallery. Tickets cost £5, and are free for young people of school age and students, they are available from the Lillie Art Gallery, Milngavie Bookshop and the Iron Chef.
