SCOTLAND’S very own rhinestone cowboy Sydney Devine rides back into Glasgow from November 10–12 to perform at The Pavilion Theatre.
Herald readers can mosey along to see him performing as we’ve got five pairs of tickets to be won.
Sydney’s career started more than 50 years ago with his first TV appearance in 1957 at the age of 13.
To date the singer has sold over 15 million albums worldwide and as you would expect some of his loyal fans believe he is The Answer to Everything.
A few years ago as news of Sydney’s ill health hit the headlines his fans feared the worst - they didn’t know if they had seen him on stage for the very last time.
His doctors discovered two aneurysms in his aorta and emergency life-saving surgery was required.
To everyone’s delight he made a quick recovery and never missed a performance.
Joining Sydney on stage this year will be his band Legend, along with Jimmy Nairn and Lorna Dolan.
There are evening performances from the Thursday to Saturday, starting at 7.30pm, with a matinee on the Saturday, starting 2pm.
If you’re not one of our lucky winners, call the Pavilion Theatre box office to book your tickets on 0141 332 1846 or go to www.paviliontheatre.co.uk
