ON SONG . . . members of Westerton Male Voice Choir raised the grand total of £920,32 after holding a number of fundraising events for their chosen charity Revive MS.

The group were at Dobbies Garden Centre, Milgavie just before Christmas singing carols to customers.

In the weeks running up to Christmas the choir also entertained shoppers at Asda Bearsden and a sell out concert at Cairns Church, Milngavie.

The concert was voted by many to be the best ever and the special guest Tom Alexander MBE added to the enjoyment of the evening with his foot tapping selection on the accordion with extracts from his latest CD “Hoots Mon”

Next year the choir will have a trip to The Cornwall International Male Voice Choral Festival in early May where they will be singing in Truro Cathedral and at The Eden Project and a joint concert with The Kendal Kay Shoes Choir at Milngavie Town Hall on June 8.
