Westerton Male Voice Choir will be the first Scottish choir to attend and will be sing at an International Gala Concert in Truro Cathedral and a Regional Gala Concert at St. Neots Church.

There will be little time for relaxing during the day as the choir is booked to perform at the St. Clements Flower Festival and The Eden Project.

Musical Director Bryan Marshall said: “In the 55 years of the choir this is the first ‘tour’ we have embarked upon.

“It is a big adventure and challenge for the choir, one we are all eagerly looking forward to.

“We will be singing in some wonderful venues and will be part Europe’s largest male choir festival with 3000 other singers from all over the world, so it is sure to be an unforgettable experience for us all.

“There will be no time to rest once the guys get home as they are straight back into rehearsals for the visit of the K Shoes Male Voice Choir from Kendal who will be joining The Westerton Male Voice Choir for a joint concert in Westerton Parish Church on Saturday, June 8.”
