Visit new leisure website to keep on track

EVERYTHING you need to know about local sport, libraries, arts and heritage is at your fingertips with the launch of East Dunbartonshire Leisure and Culture Trust’s (EDLC) website.

The site, which is now live, offers visitors a wealth of information on events, projects and things to do in the area, such as health and fitness classes and arts programmes as well as on all the facilities and services the Trust has to offer including sports centres, libraries, museums and arts centres.

There is also a section on Active Schools and the work co-ordinators are doing with 44 schools across the area.

Scott Hill, vice chair of EDLC, said: “This new website is a one-stop-shop for anyone who wants to find out about all the services that EDLC offers. From information on arts programmes for children, young people and adults and details on library information services, to up-to-date online timetables for health and fitness classes, everything is available at the touch of a button.”

EDLC was formed on April 1 last year to provide a wide range of leisure and cultural services on behalf of East Dunbartonshire Council. Visit the new website at
