THE National Theatre of Scotland is going to present a co-production with Royal Lyceum Theatre, Edinburgh called 27 at the Citizens Theatre, Glasgow from May 17 to 26.
We have teamed up with the Citizens to offer two pairs of tickets to see the show on Thursday, May 24 at 7.30pm.
Abi Morgan’s new play, starring Maureen Beattie, is an extraordinary examination of a lifestyle in decline, but one whose dignity and faith could hold the key to the issues of our times, our ageing population and the decline of our minds.
Dr Richard Garfield has given Ursula a difficult choice.
She is the mother superior in-waiting of a convent that has been given the opportunity to take part in his revolutionary scientific study.
Ursula must weigh up the value of preserving her faith versus embracing science as her cloistered existence is rocked to its core.
This human play is about loneliness, ageing, science and the loss of our sense of self.
For your chance to win tickets, make sure you get your copy of this week’s Milngavie and Bearsden Herald, which is in shops now.
