Tenants give council service ‘thumbs up’

East Dunbartonshire Council’s latest housing satisfaction survey shows that 65 per cent of respondents were satisfied or very satisfied with the service they got.

Forty per cent of tenants responded to the survey carried out at the end on 2013, which looked into areas including repair and maintenance. The figure was slightly down on the 2007 figure of 71 percent.

Councillor Ashay Ghai, convener of Neighbourhood Services, said: “Our housing team is delighted that tenants have recognised the improvements that have been made across the board in the past few years. However we can’t be complacent and need to keep improving to deliver the best possible service.”
