It was organised, as before, by the Association of Milngavie Churches. The official opening was held on Saturday, December 3 and ran until today (Friday, December 9).

Three charities have been chosen to receive money raised by the event: Carers Link, Milngavie, which supports carers of all ages, Clober Farm Spinal Injuries Unit (in Milngavie) which provides respite for sufferers and their families, and the Prison Fellowship Angel Tree Project which gives Christmas presents to children whose parents are in prison.
