Springsteen confirms Scottish date

It's the news that all Bruce Springsteen fans have been waiting on - after three year wait, the Boss will be making a welcome return to the UK.

Springsteen and the E Street Band will be bringing their River Tour across the Atlantic this summer. The latest string of dates have seen the band play the full River album from top to bottom each night, along with other favourites.

And Bruce is delighted to finally confirm those rumours that have been doing the rounds on the internet.

He said: “It was the European leg of the first River tour in 1981 that really established us over there. It was a major, major event for us and I’m just delighted that we are getting a chance to play over in Scotland again. We are all really looking forward to it.”

The Boss will play Hampden Park, Glasgow on June 1.

Tickets go on sale next week.
