Swimathon, one of the world’s biggest annual fundraising swims, is back for 2015 and swimmers are being invited to take part and raise vital funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Taking place from April 17 to 19, this year’s event is set to be the biggest yet. And you don’t need to travel far to take part as the Allander Leisure Centre in Bearsden is participating.
Marie Curie Community Fundraiser Emma Hutton said: “Put on your swim suits and head down to the pool.
“In 2013, 285 swimmers across Glasgow/East Dunbartonshire raised a brilliant £22,600 for Marie Curie – a really fantastic achievement that we hope to smash this year.”
