A world famous Milngavie songstress has told fans that she’s sold an amazing 3.2million concert tickets in her career to date.
Amy Macdonald, who grew up in Bishopbriggs before moving to Milngavie, took to social media after being told the remarkable statistic.
The star, famous for songs including ‘Mr Rock&Roll and ‘Don’t Tell Me That It’s Over’ tweeted: “Not bad going for a wee Bishy bird.”
Since roaring onto the music scene with her debut album ‘This Is The Life’ in 2007 the 28-year-old has sold in excess of nine million records.
She has also toured the world and has won numerous music awards, including being hailed a ‘Scottish Fashion Icon’ at the Scottish Fashion Awards.
