Rural funding cash is up for grabs

Fresh funding is being made available to boost rural development and improve quality of life in East Dunbartonshire.

The Kelvin Valley & Falkirk LEADER 2014-2020 programme is being launched later this week.

It’s a European Union initiative aimed at promoting economic and community development within rural areas - including Twechar, Torrance, Lennoxtown, Milton of Campsie and Kirkintilloch (to the north of the Forth & Clyde Canal).
