The fun family event, organised by students at the Glasgow University Veterinary School, will raise money for animal-related charities.

Last year it made over £15,000 for good causes and their chosen charities this year include The Blue Cross, World Horse Welfare, Hearing Dogs for the Deaf and some smaller ones which are close to their hearts such as The Veterinary Development Fund - The James Herriot Scholarship Fund, Students for Animals In Need, Hessilhead Wildlife Rescue and Inti Wara Yassi, which is a Bolivian organisation which defends animal rights.

Tickets cost £7 for an adult, £3 concession and £15 for a family. The entrance to Garscube estate is on Maryhill Road, Bearsden.
