Retiral party for four NHS veterans

THE completion of an amazing total of 156 years of service to the local NHS was marked at this celebration in Carluke Masonic Club.

With four health service veterans all retiring at roughly the same time, it was decided to hold a joint retiral party for them – and what a well-deserved send-off it was.

All of them have served at the former Law Hospital and went on to the new Wishaw General Hospital when it took over the role of being Clydesdale’s main health facility.
