Pupils with heads (and hearts) for business
MEARNS Castle High pupils made some hard-earned cash at Silverburn shopping centre in the run up to Valentine’s Day.
The school’s Young Enterprise team, Trenderprise, took to the Pollok mall to sell cheeky handmade bracelets to Valentine’s shoppers.
The grou of 13 entrepreneurial teens raised over £100 from their wristbands, with prices starting at £1 and slogans including Will you be my Valentine? and Kiss me.
The group’s head of PR and marketing, Michael McDonald, said: “The project is a great way for us to learn the ins and outs of running a business while being creative in the process.”
