ANTONINE Probus Club’s new sessions are now up and running, with a range of interesting speakers lined up.

Members have already welcomed Dr Peter T Hughes, who spoke on his career in engineering and entertained members with his turns on various musical instruments, and the RSPB’s Dr Paul Walton, who talked about the reintroduction of sea eagles to Scotland.

The club meets in Kilmardinny House, Bearsden, on the first and third Mondays of each month through to March, and around 70 members participate.

On alternate Mondays when there is no meeting many of the members join together for morning coffee and a chat at West Highland Gate.
