Possible '˜human remains' found at Mugdock
Police are searching the area around Mugdock waterworks after reports of a body being found.
The area was sealed off as officers, including a forensic team, conducted the search after the report was made on Tuesday.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: “Police Scotland can confirm the discovery of potential human remains within the grounds of Mugdock Country Park in Milngavie on Tuesday, 15 March.
“Inquiries are at a very early stage to establish the circumstances surrounding the discovery.”
