Launch for Better Together Lanark
The local group campaigning for Scotland to remain within the United Kingdom will launch in Lanark at the weekend.
Better Together Lanark will hold a public launch on Saturday, March 1, at 11am in the Memorial Hall.
A spokesman for the organisers said: “The meeting will be a chance for people in Lanark to find out how they can get involved in the campaign for a strong Scotland in the UK, as well as a chance to raise their questions about the ways breaking away from Britain would affect them and their families.”
The new Lanark group is the latest in a series of local Better Together branches being formed ahead of September’s referendum.
