Care home plan goes before Government
Balmer Developments, which runs care homes in Viewpark and Uddingston, wants to demolish a Victorian villa on Hamilton Road, and replace it with a new 61-room facility.
The 1.6m three storey home would cover an area of 5000 sq m and employ 120 people, the plans include 29 parking spaces, a cinema and hairdressing salon.
