Police probe after shots fired at vehicle

Police have launched an investigation after shots were fired at a vehicle in Springburn.

The black vehicle was targeted on Gourlay Street at around 8pm on Friday, August 12.

Police cordoned off the area surrounding the incident on Saturday, August 13 and residents were ask to stay indoors while officers started their investigation.

Officers say they have received no reports of anyone injured.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Around 8pm on Friday, August 12, police were called to a report of shots fired at a black vehicle on Gourlay Street, Glasgow.

“At this time there are no reports of anyone injured, however, extensive enquiries are ongoing to establish more detail on this incident and trace the vehicle and those involved.”
