Police continue search for missing Chryston man
Officers from Police Scotland have appealed for help from the general public and media in their attempts to find the Chryston resident.
Colin McCarney (49), of Drumsack Farm, was last seen by his brother in the early hours of Monday, October 7.

Hide AdMr McCarney is described as being white, 5ft7in–5ft9in tall, of slim build with grey wavy hair.
He has an Irish accent and when he was last seen he was wearing blue jeans, a blue stripe shirt and a brown jacket.
Sergeant Andy Dobbie, of Cumbernauld Police Office, has urged anybody who might know something about the case to come forward immediately.
He said: “Mr McCarney has not been missing before and it is unusual for him not to keep in contact with his family and friends, and they are becoming increasingly concerned for his safety.

Hide Ad“Since he was reported missing, police have carried out extensive enquiries to trace him, and followed a number of lines of enquiry, however, so far we have been unable to trace him.”
“I would urge anyone who may have seen Mr McCarney, or who has any information regarding his whereabouts to contact Police Scotland on 101, the non-emergency number for Police Scotland.”
