Police called out to rail line at Bishopbriggs after man spotted on track

Police were called to the rail line at Bishopbriggs after reports of a person on the tracks.

The incident happened around 12.15pm on Saturday, June 27.

A Police Scotland spokesman said:“Around 12.15pm on Saturday, 27 June, officers were called to the area of Bishopbriggs Railway Station, following concern for a man.

“He was traced safe and well at around 1.45pm and is attending hospital as a precaution.”

Scotrail confirmed they worked closely with emergency services after being advised of the incident.
