Police are appealing for help in tracing a missing 23-year-old Berwick woman who may have travelled to this area.
Katie Grout from Goldstone vanished from her home around 7am on Thursday, October 8.
Police say they are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare.
She is described as white, 5 feet 5” tall, very slim build, with shoulder length brown hair with a small scar under her chin. She was wearing black and white checked trousers, black long sleeved top and grey boots.
Katie left home driving her silver Vauxhall Corsa car registration DY61 HJJ.
She was spotted near Harthill Service Station on the M8 and is believed to be travelling to Glasgow or the surrounding area.
Police are concerned for her welfare and are carrying out enquiries to locate Katie.
Officers are appealing for Katie to make contact with them. Anyone who recognises her are asked to call police straightaway.
