Police appeal after woman struck by car

A 19-year-old woman is 'serious but stable' in hospital after she was struck by a car on Springburn Road in Glasgow on Friday morning (September 23).

She was at the pedestrian crossing near Petershill Road, at 10.25am, when she was struck by a black car.

Constable Grant Neilson from the Divisional Road Policing Unit at Govan said: “I would appeal to anyone who was on Springburn Road around the time of the incident and may have seen what happened to get in touch.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact officers at the Divisional Road Policing Unit based at Govan via 101.”
