The police are asking for help from members of the public to find an elderly lady who has been missing from her home in Anniesland since Monday (December 28).

Anne Normand (76) of Ascot Gate in Anniesland, who has dementia, was last seen at her home address around 6.10pm on Monday, December 28.

She is described as white, 5ft 7 inches tall and slim with grey hair and wears glasses. She is wearing a blue Berghaus jacket, red trousers and black shoes.

Inspector Bryan McGeogh of Baird Street Police Office said: “Anne suffers from dementia and has difficulty communicating. She has not been missing before and her family and police are becoming increasingly concerned for her safety and wellbeing. I would urge anyone who has seen Anne, or who has any information on her whereabouts to contact Police Scotland on 101.”
