Party at Carol's raises charity cash
Carol Murray and friends have raised an impressive £1400 for Marie Curie Cancer Care, in memory of Carol's dad Charles McCaffer.
Charles, from Kirkintilloch, passed away at the Marie Curie Hospice in Springburn and Carol and mum Maureen wanted to fundraise for the charity as a gesture of thanks.
Raffles, including one featuring star prize of Charlie Bear helped swell the coffers and Carol said: “More than 45 ladies joined and would like to thank everyone involved for their tremendous support and kindness. We had a fantastic night.”
